Rotate PDF pages

Rotate PDF turns pages the right way up and saves the change, so the file opens correctly everywhere — not just in the viewer where you rotated it. Rotate every page, or only some: type 1, 3-4 to turn just those.

Rotation always turns pages clockwise or counter-clockwise relative to how they look now, so you can run the tool twice if a page needs another turn. Files you add together are rotated with the same settings, which is quick when a whole batch of scans came out the same wrong way.

It's made for scans that came out sideways or upside down, landscape pages in a portrait report, and photos taken with the phone held the wrong way. You can rotate several PDFs at once; each one is saved as its own file.

The work is done in your browser and your files are never uploaded. Rotation is stored as a page setting, so nothing is redrawn and the quality stays exactly the same.

Questions and answers

Is the rotation saved permanently?

Yes. The new direction is written into the PDF, so it shows correctly in every viewer and when printed.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Type the pages to rotate, like 2 or 1, 3-5. Other pages stay as they are.

Will the pages lose quality?

No. Rotating doesn't redraw or compress anything.

My pages need different rotations. What do I do?

Use Organize Pages: it shows thumbnails and lets you turn each page separately.

Are my files uploaded?

No, everything happens in your browser.
