Split a PDF into several files
Split PDF cuts one PDF into smaller files. Choose exactly which pages go together — for example 1-3, 4-10, 11-end — or let the tool do the counting: one file every N pages, one file per page, or files that stay under a size limit such as 10 MB for email.
Every part keeps the original page size and orientation, and the files are named after your document plus the pages they contain, so you can tell them apart in your downloads folder. If you split by size, the tool measures the real size of each part instead of guessing from the page count.
This is useful when a scanner put a whole stack into one file, when a portal only accepts small uploads, or when you need to send someone just one chapter.
The splitting happens in your browser, so the document is never uploaded. Pages are copied as they are: text stays sharp and selectable. When you get more than one file, you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.

Questions and answers
How do I write page ranges?
Separate ranges with commas: 1-3, 5, 8-end. Each range becomes its own file. end always means the last page.
Can I split a PDF so each part fits an email limit?
Yes. Choose By file size and enter the limit in MB, for example 10 or 25. If a single page is bigger than the limit on its own, it gets its own file and you'll see a note.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Split PDF works entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. The pages are copied without changes, so the parts look exactly like the original.
What if I only need a few pages?
Use Extract Pages to make one new PDF with just those pages, or Remove Pages to delete the ones you don't need.
