Merge PDFs without uploading them
Most online PDF tools upload your files to their servers to merge them. That's a lot of trust to hand over for tax returns, medical records or a contract. Here, the merging runs entirely in your browser: the files are read and joined on your own device and never sent anywhere.
You can check this yourself. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and merge your files — you'll see no upload. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded; merging still works.
Add as many PDFs as you need (up to 50), drag them into order and download one file. Pages are copied as they are, so quality, text and links stay the same. Because there's no upload, large files are merged quickly too.
We built ShamsPDF this way on purpose: the safest file is the one that never leaves your computer.
The options for this task are already set. You can still change them after adding your file. Open the full Merge PDF tool

Questions and answers
How can I be sure nothing is uploaded?
Watch the Network tab in your browser's developer tools while merging, or go offline after the page loads. The merge still works because it runs on your device.
Do you keep any information about my files?
We count anonymous usage only — which tool, whether it worked and how long it took. Never file names or contents.
Is there a catch?
No sign-up and no watermark. Very large merges depend on your device's memory.
Which other tools work without uploading?
Split, compress, rotate, organize, sign, watermark, page numbers and most other tools also run in your browser. Tools marked Secure server need our server.
