Remove duplicate pages from a PDF
Remove Duplicate Pages finds pages that appear more than once in a PDF and keeps only the first copy. Duplicates creep in when a page jams in the scanner and gets fed twice, when you merge files that overlap, or when an email thread is printed with every earlier message attached.
It helps most after merging: when you combine several exports or email attachments, the same cover letter, terms page or signature page often appears more than once. One pass removes every repeat. If the document has no duplicates, the tool says so and your file stays exactly as it was.
The tool compares what each page actually looks like, so it catches scanned duplicates as well as identical digital pages. When it's done, it tells you which pages were copies of which — for example page 7 was the same as page 6 — so you can check the result.
Everything runs in your browser. Your document never leaves your device, and the pages that remain are copied without any change in quality.

Questions and answers
How does it decide two pages are the same?
It compares small images of the pages, so two scans of the same sheet count as duplicates even if they're not byte-for-byte identical.
Which copy is kept?
The first one. Later copies are removed and the order of everything else stays the same.
Could it remove pages that only look similar?
Pages that differ in text or layout are kept. Very similar forms that differ only by a tiny mark could be treated as duplicates, so check the list in the result.
Is my file uploaded?
No. All comparisons happen on your device.
What if there are no duplicates?
You'll see a note that nothing was found and the file is unchanged.
