Convert Word to PDF
Word to PDF turns a Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every device and can't be changed by accident — the right format for CVs, letters, reports and anything you submit online. DOCX, DOC, ODT and RTF files are accepted.
Headers, footers, page numbers, tables of contents and footnotes are kept, and hyperlinks remain clickable in the PDF. If your document has comments or tracked changes, accept or remove them in Word first so the PDF shows the final text.
The conversion uses LibreOffice on our secure server. Most documents come out looking just like they do in Word; rare fonts are replaced with similar ones. Macros never run.
Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, encrypted on arrival and processed in an isolated sandbox. It is deleted right after download and never kept longer than 10 minutes. We never look at, share or keep copies of your files, and the file's name never even reaches our server.

Questions and answers
Will my document look the same?
Usually yes. Layout, tables and images are kept. If you use an unusual font, a similar one may be used instead.
Is it safe to upload my document?
Files are encrypted, deleted right after download, and never kept longer than 10 minutes. We never look at, share or keep copies of your files.
Is there a size limit?
One file at a time, up to 100 MB and 500 pages.
Do macros in my document run?
No. Macros are switched off completely during conversion.
Can I convert the PDF back to Word?
Yes, with PDF to Word — but PDFs don't store paragraphs, so the result keeps the look rather than the original structure.
