Convert PDF to PDF/A
PDF/A is a version of PDF made for long-term archiving: every font is embedded, colours are defined precisely and nothing depends on outside resources, so the document will look the same in decades. Courts, public tenders, universities and many archives require it.
PDF/A-2b guarantees the appearance of the document, which is what most courts, tender platforms and digital archives check. If a validator rejects the result, the original usually contains something PDF/A can't hold, such as transparency from an unusual program; converting from the source document again often helps.
This tool converts your PDF to PDF/A-2b. The look of your document stays the same; behind the scenes fonts are embedded and colours fixed. Features that aren't allowed in PDF/A, such as embedded scripts, are removed.
The conversion runs on our secure server: your file is encrypted on arrival, processed in an isolated sandbox and deleted right after download, never kept longer than 10 minutes.
