Convert PDF to Excel
PDF to Excel pulls the tables out of a PDF and puts them in an XLSX spreadsheet, so you can sort, filter and calculate with the numbers instead of typing them again. Each page becomes its own sheet.
Column headers are kept in the first rows of each sheet, and empty columns between tables are left out where possible. Before you calculate totals, check a few values against the PDF — especially decimal points and minus signs in scanned documents, which OCR can misread.
It works best on tables with clear lines or neat columns, like bank statements, price lists and reports exported from other software. Merged cells and free text around the table may land in odd cells, so check the result before relying on it. Scanned pages are read with OCR first, in the language you choose.

Which PDFs work best?
PDFs created by software with ruled tables or neatly aligned columns. Photos of tables work too, but OCR can misread numbers, so check them.
Are numbers recognised as numbers?
Usually, yes. Unusual number formats may come out as text; Excel's Convert to number fixes that.
Is my data safe?
